Home violence in family and its impact on child

This work deals with domestic violence, with a focus on children who grow up in such an environment and who witness the violence as its indirect victims. Attention will be paid to the impacts of this situation on their mental and physical health, family relationships and possible problems in their future life. Although the issue of children who witness violence at home is in the Czech environment taken into account, yet there is not an extensive paper on this particular topic. This work provides insight into the possible negative consequences of indirect victimization of children who have been identified in studies conducted abroad, and also proposes a methodological approach for possible further research in this area.
